Spring Open House March 13th!

It's almost Spring and that can only mean one thing! It's Time To SHOP! Come out and cure your Cabin Fever with a good ol' time Country Shop Hop! Saturday March 13th!

4 Local shops will join forces to bring you Springtime In The Country Shop Hop! Participating shops are: Country Heart, Shelby NC, Ful O' Bright Ideas in Vale NC, NanBrook Farm in Lincolnton NC, and Splinters and Rags in Vale NC.

Each shop with it's own distinctive style and offerings will be bursting forth with SPRING! That's 4 GREAT SHOPS! 1 FANTASTIC SHOP HOP!

FINALLY! The Summer Kitchen!

After 10 years of begging my hubby to move the old granery from the back of the barn, he finally got a wild hair yesterday and it was all she wrote!


Poor old thing! Abused and misused after 100 years and leaning towards the creek, this relic will make the perfect summer kitchen behind the shop!

Oops! Just took 2 tractors to pull her out!

At last! Now we just gotta go 200 yards!

We're almost there! Poor thing!

A new home at last! Won't this just be perfect! But boy does it need some work! Now we just gotta get that log smoke house moved!

WOW! Look At ALL You Donated!

MANY THANKS to ALL of you who came out for the Holiday House Walk! You donated a walloping 198 canned and boxed foods plus $6.00!! They were taken to Amy's House for Battered Women in Lincolnton with many thanks from those who were there! You ALL were Awesome!

Holiday House Walk 12/12/09

THANKS to the hundreds of you who braved the cold and came out for our Annual Holiday House Walk. You donated tons of canned goods for Amy's House for Battered Women in Lincolnton and we thank you! Holiday Open House 11/07/09

Another year passed!? Has it been that long? Well, we did it again and thanks to ALL who came out yesterday for the open house! Fun! Fun! Fun! was had by all!
